What does Company Cash do?

We lend to Australian companies for business purposes, either on their cash flow with unsecured loans and lines of credit, or against property with first mortgages, second mortgages and caveat loans.

How much can my company borrow?

Unsecured and cash flow options typically run from $5,000 to $500,000, sized on turnover and bank statements. Property-secured loans run from $20,000 to $5,000,000 over residential or commercial property.

Does enquiring affect my credit score?

No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A check only happens if you decide to proceed with an application.

Do I need property to borrow?

No. Cash flow lending relies on your trading account rather than property. Property does open up larger amounts, longer terms and more flexibility on credit history.

Can the property be my home?

Yes. Many business loans are secured over a director's home. It's a serious decision, so we'll make sure you understand the repayment plan and what happens if things go wrong before you commit.

Do you lend to sole traders and trusts as well as companies?

Our focus is companies, but trading trusts and sole traders running a genuine business can enquire too. The structure changes who signs and who guarantees, not whether we'll look at it.

How long does my company need to have traded?

For cash flow lending, around six months or more of statements is common. With property security, newer businesses can often be considered because the property carries more of the risk.

Can you help if I have bad credit?

Past credit issues are considered case by case. What matters is what happened, whether it's resolved and what the account looks like now. Property security makes a big difference here.

What about ATO debt?

Many companies we speak with have tax debt or a payment plan. It's assessed case by case, and in some situations the loan itself is used to clear the ATO balance.

My bank said no. Is it worth asking you?

Usually. Banks have strict policies built for typical files. A decline from a bank doesn't mean other lenders will say no, especially where property is available or the reason was timing or trading history.

Do you publish interest rates?

No. Business loans are priced on each company's situation, including the security, term, credit history and purpose. You'll see the total cost and every fee in writing before you sign.

Are there upfront fees to enquire?

No. Enquiring is free. Any fees for an approved loan, such as establishment or valuation costs, are disclosed in writing before you commit.

What can the loan be used for?

Any genuine business purpose: working capital, stock, equipment, wages, tax, expansion, buying a business, refinancing or bridging a timing gap. Not personal or household spending.

Will you send my details to other lenders?

No. We don't sell or spray enquiries. The team that reads your enquiry is the team that works on it with you.

What documents will I need?

To enquire, none. To apply, typically recent business bank statements, director ID, company details and, for secured loans, property details. Our document checklist lists it all.

Can I repay early?

Many facilities allow early repayment; the cost of doing so varies. We'll explain the early repayment terms of any offer before you sign.

Who will contact me after I enquire?

A member of our lending team, by phone, usually during business hours. The call may come from a number you don't recognise, so keep your phone handy.

Where are you based?

Our office is at 189 Toorak Road, South Yarra VIC 3141, and we lend to companies right across Australia.
